We were celebrating our company’s 10th anniversary and looking for a venue that wasn’t the cliche hotel ballroom or cozy hall. Carisa was fantastic to work with and super quick in replying to all our questions during the whole planning process. From the site visit all the way leading up to the event, I knew that this party was going to impress our guests. Our planning committee felt very relaxed ahead of the event date because we knew that most of the details were taken care of all thanks to the staff at PYC – what a stress reliever! I had the pleasure of bringing a corporate group for a private dinner on the yacht. During the planning stage, David was very accommodating, professional and patient with my questions and last minute requests. It was extremely easy to work with David. 
On the day of the event, the entire service team was excellent! Service was prompt and professional and everyone’s wine glasses were constantly refilled (very important for this group!) Mardy and his team of kitchen staff completely blew everyone’s socks off! Guests were impressed with how the food looked and tasted and the caliber of what was available on the yacht (one of the VIP had a peek into the kitchen and was absolutely amazed).

I had the pleasure of working with Pacific Yacht Charters for my wedding in August 2016. It was definitely the best decision we could have made. I started planning a little over a year in advance, and Carisa was amazing. She was very thorough and always prompt in getting back to me. I never had any concerns, and never felt overwhelmed with the cost. Having our ceremony on the yacht, while dockside, was simply beautiful and it was such a relief to have both the ceremony and reception at one location. After setting sail for a 4 hour cruise, we enjoyed drinks, dinner and dancing. The food on board was exquisite. We opted for the buffet and it was so much more than we expected. The flavors were unique, the food was so fresh and not to mention delicious. We received many compliments. The staff on board were incredibly helpful from start to finish; so attentive to us and our guests. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. A lot of our guests were from Northern BC, as are the two of us, so seeing the scenery while sailing was breathtaking. Everyone is still raving about our wedding and it’s definitely a day we will never forget and always cherish.

I cannot imagine any venue matching the job Carisa and the staff onboard Pacific Yacht Charters did to make our wedding so special. From the first meeting to the actual reception, every detail was thought of. Carisa had ideas that I had not thought of yet and went over and above to make my requests come true, which made our whole experience stress free.

The service of all the staff on board was professional, friendly and courteous and the food was fabulous. The warm welcome we received from the second we arrived until we left was absolutely fantastic. Our guests are still talking about the sunset sail, the food and the dancing on the top deck while watching the city go by.

I can honestly say that it surpassed our expectations completely and I could not recommend it highly enough to anyone wanting to have their event on board the Pacific Yacht.

In planning my company’s Christmas party I wanted to find a venue that people could get excited about. Something that was different from the ordinary hotel conference room or restaurant typically used for this event. I came across Sunset Bay Yacht Group and immediately fell in love with the idea of spending the evening on the water. The yacht was absolutely gorgeous and tastefully decorated for the holiday season and the city lights were a perfect backdrop. I felt like I was at a glamorous event. The staff were very friendly and attentive, offering hor d’oeuvres and drinks throughout the evening and the food was delicious. The party was a huge hit and I would fully recommend Sunset Bay and hope to have the opportunity to sail with them again in the future.

Our company were looking to provide our clients with an incredible evening out in Vancouver and we enlisted the services of Pacific Yacht Charters! The timeliness and execution of Pacific Yacht Charters was second to none. David Feys our main contact ensured our event went off without a hitch and extremely accommodating throughout the whole process.

The food that we experienced at the event was absolutely incredible and exceed all expectations we could have ever had. Our clients to this day continue to speak about the incredible time they had aboard the yacht and just how incredible the food was, from the oysters, the lobster mac and cheese to the “fresh brought to the boat in the morning” Sablefish!

Our last minute addition of a photographer was handled quickly by David and ensured our event had some lasting memories for our clients. It is the extra things that they did throughout the night which truly made us and our clients feel like complete A-list Rock Stars.
